Quick Tip: Clean(er) Finger Painting

My daughter loves to finger paint but I don't love the mess she makes. She is 2 and still has the natural reaction to wipe her hands/fingers on her shirt if something gets on them. After learning a hard lesson with non-washable paint (big mom fail) I found a quick and easy solution. Q-tips. I put one in each pot of her washable finger paint and she uses that to paint with. I do one pot at a time to reduce color mixing as well.

We also took finger painting outside. It's already in the 70's here!
