I have tried many cookie cutters in my day, and these are by far my favorite for shape cookies. I bought them on Amazon and you can find them here. Wilton seems to have the market on cookie cutters, and although I enjoy the "grippy" cookie cutters, these are way more kid friendly. The pictures shows the bottom of the cookie cutter facing up and as you can see it is rounded and not sharp. We had no problems cutting through the dough and no one got cut.
Also, I was not paid nor were materials donated for this review, the thoughts are all mine!
**Side bar- we have the grippy cookie cutters and once upon a time my daughter grabbed one from the drawer and ran off with it. She left it in our bedroom and when daddy woke up he stepped on the metal edge and cut his foot open. This is why I'm glad we found a new kind of cookie cutter.**
I'll be real with you, I "cheated" this holiday. I bought cookie mix and pre-made frosting...
My little helper!
I asked my daughter to sprinkle some flour on the dough so that the rolling pin wouldn't stick. She did it throughout the entire cookie-making and I looked over once to see this nice pile of flour waiting for me.
