Following the Easter theme this week, you may have also seen all the Easter cupcakes I did for the Paperie Haven post. Here is one set that I didn't show in that feature and another mini cake, both easy and cute ideas for Easter.
Mini Easter Egg Cakes
Follow the how-to from our Valentine's post for these cakes, but replace the heart shaped cookie cutter for an egg shaped cookie cutter.
The frosting I used for this cake (and the cupcakes) I got from Pinterest and can be found here. It is a whipped cream frosting and was easy to make but had to either be eaten immediately or refrigerated.
Jelly Bean Cupcakes
My friend made similar cupcakes and they were adorable! Use a star tip on your piping bag and start in the center working your way outwards to create a "grass" frosting, then add jelly beans on top!
The cake mix I used for both cakes was from a box, nothing special. You could even use one box to do half cupcakes and half egg-shaped cakes.
