Amy is from California and was born into a creative family. Her mom and dad owned a business in the 80's and 90's that shipped crafts around the world. A couple of years ago she started crafting again and tries to use reclaimed wood whenever possible. Anything that would otherwise be trashed or wasted she likes to rescue and use for her projects. She likes to look for items at garage sales and thrift stores, especially old hardware that spices up a project and makes it one-of-a-kind.
Items from Amy's Reclaimed is available on Etsy and at local flea markets in the summertime, mostly at Melrose Trading Post in Hollywood (on Sundays).
I had the chance to shoot a "love" sign and it is such a fun and versatile piece. I love the craftsmanship and uniqueness. I tried to think outside of the box for uses and this is what I came up with. I think that hanging it on a wall was the obvious choice, and well suited, but I found that I really liked it on our small bookcase as our balancing piece between the larger frame and greenery. I am such a sucker for signs and I also really liked it as a unique centerpiece. Paired with some wildflowers and a candle adds charm. Amy has a ton of great items, great for your house, weddings, parties, and more!
