This week week's small business feature is all about Posh N Prim.

Valentina hales from my home state of Oregon and is the owner of Posh N Prim. She describes herself as a servant of God, a wife and a mother....in that order. She has four children and a very supportive husband and enjoys spending time with her family. Before starting her business she didn't consider herself crafty or have much interest in crafts. She learned to make hair bows and clips about five years ago and it grew from there. Before selling on Etsy, Valentina sold in local gift shops and baby events. She first started her company BeBeBijoux which specializes in headbands and clips. After the success from that shop she decided to focus a new shop, Posh N Prim, on fabric headbands and fabric hair clips that are made from hand picked fabrics from local stores. (kudos btw)

All fabrics are selected by Valentina and are purchased brand new in latest colors and styles. She tries all of her new items out on her three girls before shipping them off to her customers to make sure that they are quality pieces. She loves to do custom pieces and try new styles. If you haven’t had the chance to check out her shop(s) I highly recommend them! Posh N Prim has a huge selection of items including pieces in addition to headbands and clips like necklaces and crocheted head wraps.

We got to try out a clip and headband and my daughter loves both. If you couldn't tell she is rocking an awesome toddler mullet…I haven’t had the heart to cut her hair yet since she really doesn't have a ton. The clip has been excellent to keep her business up front tidy and out of her face. The headband is on trend and was very fun to do photos with. We chose to dress it down since dressing it up was kind of the obvious choice. It would pair nicely with any dress and can still be a great daily piece as well. If you check out her Etsy shop you will see that her pieces have the flexibility to be dressed up or dressed down. And Valentina doesn't just talk the talk when it comes to quality, she walks the walk. Both pieces have been assembled with care and attention to detail.
