Frozen Party: Wanna Build A Snowman?

Frozen has been huge ever since it hit the big screen. Naturally my daughter is in love and wanted to have a Frozen birthday party. However, the selection of Frozen party items was slim so this mama had to come up with Frozen ideas on her own! This post will focus only on the activity that we did at her birthday party...we built snowmen!

Supplies
Card stock
Cotton Balls
Pipe Cleaners
Googly eyes
Glue
Snowflakes*
Markers/crayons
Frozen stickers (optional)

Prep work: glue three cotton balls to a piece of card stock for each kid. It can get hectic (and messy) letting all the kids do liquid glue by themselves so we went ahead and did the first step for them. Then cut up an orange pipe cleaner into 1" sections for the kids to use for the nose. Snowflakes is where it can get tricky. I bought a paper stamp in the shape of a snowflake and hand stamped all of them out of glitter paper. If you can find snowflake stickers or die cuts that would be easier. Since snowflake items aren't in season I had to do it myself...no biggie. Cut some of the other pipe cleaners into 3" sections for arms. That's all the prep!

Assembly...
Give each kid their snow man paper along with the nose, 2 googly eyes, pipe cleaner arms, and snowflakes. All of the kids were still pretty young, so we assisted with the liquid glue and let them use the glue sticks on their own. Help them glue on the eyes, nose, and arms. Then they can do all the snowflakes, stickers, and coloring on their own. It was seriously a huge hit and fit in perfect with our Frozen theme!

* I bought my paper cutter at Hobby Lobby. It was in their paper crafting aisles by other shaped punchers and hole punchers. I also bought my glitter paper and pipe cleaners from them. They did not sponsor this post, this info is just for your information and to help you on your search for snowflake shaped paper cutters (it's actually flower shaped).
